From paper towels to menstrual pads to cloth diapers, there is an answer for your every need. Not only will cloth save you money, but they will help make the world a healthier place to live in.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"plant_something\"><\/span>Plant Something<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Even if you have a brown thumb, you can participate in tree plantings or grow a house plant. Anything you raise will help the earth&#8217;s air quality. Better yet, plant a garden and grow your food! Even if you live in an apartment, you can grow things in containers like herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, cucumbers, and more! Many towns also have community gardens that are reasonable to join f you don&#8217;t have any space for a garden. Even just a lone houseplant will help! Try to carpool with your coworkers. You may even look for rideshare opportunities in your area. From message boards to the subway, there is a way to reduce your consumption of gas and carbon emissions.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"tell_your_neighbor\"><\/span>Tell your Neighbor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Most importantly, share with your family and friends what you are doing to become greener. You will be surprised by the feedback and ideas you may find where you least expect it. Building long-lasting and sustainable habits and sharing that information with your friends, families, and neighbors can help the green movement catch on that much faster.<\/p>\n<p>Overall the best way to approach a green lifestyle is by using baby steps.
